Groom Style: Cufflinks

How great are these two options for cufflinks? I just adore the way cufflinks look peeking out from under a jacket sleeve. Happy Autumn!

As today is the first official day of autumn, I started remembering that S and I were first planning our wedding to be an autumn wedding. Our original date was set to be October 3rd, but as plans and venues changed, so did our date! I can't imagine having another wedding now, although I do love the idea of pretty fallen leaves and warm table settings. Imagine serving a mulled wine and apple cider doughnuts! Yum! Today's post is dedicated to my love of autumn and inspiration for autumn weddings.

Bride Style: 70's Bride

Summer in NYC is always hot and muggy. Not too much opportunity to run around barefoot. Lately I have been dreaming of being somewhere in California, maybe Big Sur, circa 1970's. To appease my yearning for a summer of freedom, I've dedicated this post to the revival of the 70's bride. The 70's bride was much more of a free spirit. She was all class with a bit of rock n' roll! I loved my wedding dress so much, but if I had to do it over again, I may have considered wearing a short lace dress with a pretty wreath in my hair! And what's more rock n' roll then Jane Birkin and Bianca Jagger?!

And check out this amazing modern day 70's wedding. I love, love, love it!

Going to the chapel...

Hello all! Upon returning from our lovely honeymoon, Husband and I have decided that we have something special to share with the world, our wedding! With that said, we want to be able to (hopefully) provide some inspiration to other couples just like us who want a crafty, personal, green, and innovative wedding.
